Welcome to Deutsch Prüfung. By accessing our website at deutsch-pruefung.de or using our mobile applications "German Exam Prep" available on Android (Google Play Store) and iOS (Apple App Store) (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms").

If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Service.

Deutsch Prüfung provides German language exam preparation materials, including:

• Practice questions for Goethe-Zertifikat and TELC exams (A1-C2 levels)
• Mock tests covering Reading, Listening, Writing, and Speaking sections
• Progress tracking and performance analytics
• Study reminders and notifications (mobile apps)
• Premium features including ad-free experience and offline access

Note: Our Service is for exam preparation only. We are not affiliated with Goethe-Institut or TELC GmbH. We do not administer official exams or issue certificates.

You agree to use our Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Share your account credentials with others
• Attempt to reverse engineer, hack, or compromise our Service

We expressly disclaim responsibility for the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of any information provided through the Service. You agree that your use of the Service and reliance on any content is at your own risk. This includes, without limitation, any losses, liabilities, or damages arising from exam outcomes, missed opportunities, or other consequences.

Our total liability for any claims relating to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us for the Service in the twelve months preceding the claim.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless German Exam Practice and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, or debt, and expenses (including attorney's fees) arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

In addition to these Terms, use of our mobile application is subject to the following:

11.1 App Store Terms

When you download our mobile app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, you also agree to the respective platform's terms of service:

11.2 Offline Functionality

The mobile app is designed to work offline. Downloaded content and practice materials are stored locally on your device. We are not responsible for data loss if you uninstall the app or clear app data.

11.3 Advertising

The mobile app displays advertisements through Google AdMob to keep the app free. By using the mobile app, you agree to:

• View advertisements as part of the app experience
• Allow Google AdMob to collect device identifiers for ad serving (subject to your device settings)
• Not attempt to block, manipulate, or fraudulently interact with ads
• Not use ad-blocking software that interferes with app functionality

Ad frequency and placement are determined by our ad configuration and may change without notice. Rewarded ads are optional and provide additional features when watched voluntarily.

11.4 Updates and Compatibility

We may release updates to the mobile app to add features, fix bugs, or improve performance. You are responsible for:

• Keeping the app updated to the latest version
• Ensuring your device meets minimum system requirements
• Understanding that older app versions may not be supported

We reserve the right to discontinue support for older operating system versions or devices that no longer meet our technical requirements.

11.5 No Account Synchronization

The mobile app operates independently from the web platform. Practice data, progress, and settings are not synchronized between the mobile app and web platform. Each platform maintains separate data storage.

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us or using the account deletion feature in your profile settings.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately, and your account data may be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will try to provide at least 30 days notice prior to any new terms taking effect.

Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

These Terms shall be interpreted and governed by the laws of the European Union and Germany, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Germany.

Note: If you are a consumer residing in the European Union, you retain the right to bring proceedings in your country of residence under applicable EU consumer protection laws.

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect. The invalid provision will be replaced with a valid provision that most closely approximates the intent of the original provision.
